After completing his formal education, Dr. Van Derhei moved to Georgia, establishing his office in 2002.

Dr. Van Derhei has had immense training in all aspects of dental implantology. He has been one of North Georgia’s premier implant restorative dentists over the past decade.

Dr. Van Derhei maintains membership in the American College of Prosthodontists, American Dental Association, and the John F. Johnston Society. He plays an active role in the community, and has volunteered his dental services on a mission trip to an Indian reservation in South Dakota.

His wife of more than 15 years, Wenona, who also is a prosthodontist, has been with him on every step of this journey. They have two young children that keep them very busy away from the dental world.

Dr. Van Derhei’s hobbies include cheering on the Green Bay Packers, coin collecting, participating in “short” triathlons, and reading.
